Pt.1

Water Me is a group exhibition at Zirka Space that brings together artists exploring alternative ways of living, collaborating, and creating beyond traditional hierarchies. During the opening, I spoke with several participating artists about how the exhibition's central theme of water takes shape across painting, audiovisual installation, performance, and live music.

This first conversation focuses on the collaboration between audiovisual artist Adriano Tenore and painter N:CO, whose projected visuals transform a static painting into an evolving work. We also discuss Giovanni's live performance and Andrea Bolognino's visual interventions accompanying the DJ sets of Nocturne Error, highlighting how each contribution approaches the exhibition's concept from a different perspective.

Pt. 2

The second conversation shifts more toward performance and sound. We get to experience the audience perception of the live performance of Maria “Pia” Napolitano de Majo who also reflects on her performance. Jakob Weiss discusses the creative process behind his and Pia’s collaboration on the evening's sound production. Together, they consider how water functions as both a material and conceptual idea that connects the exhibition.
