Jonathan Calderón

Jonathan Emanuel Calderon (born January 23, 1998) is an American-born performer, model, singer, interviewer and creative based in Munich, Germany. His work spans performance, fashion, media and digital content. Calderón has appeared as a singer and performer and has worked in modeling, whilst also developing an independent and creative presence through interviews, photography and his personal website.

Early Life

Calderón was born on January 23, 1998 in Cape Coral, Florida, United States. He has Puerto Rican and Dominican family heritage and was raised between American and Caribbean cultural influences before later establishing his professional life in Germany.

From an early age, Jonathan developed an interest in performance and the arts. In the third grade, he became involved with Odyssey of The Mind— an international educational program and competition that teaches students how to solve open-ended, creative problems. Jonathan and his team went on to place 5th at the World Finals in Iowa.

His interests would eventually expand to include singing, acting, modeling, fashion, and media.

Jonathan speaks 4 languages including English, German, Spanish, and Italian

Career

Performance and music

Calderón has a background in performance and singing. His work has included live performances and collaborations with vocal and entertainment groups.

In 2025, Calderón was invited to perform with the Golden Voices of Gospel at Schlagerboom in Kitzbühel. The appearance included rehearsals and a live stage performance and introduced Calderón to the broader German entertainment and Schlager environment. He has subsequently been involved with additional Schlagerboom events and performances in cities including Düsseldorf and Berlin.

Calderón has expressed an interest in expanding his work as a singer and performer while combining music with other forms of entertainment and media.

Modeling and fashion

Calderón has also pursued modeling, working with agencies and participating in both professional photo and video productions. His modeling work has included commercial and fashion-oriented projects.

Media and interviewing

Alongside performance and modeling, Calderón has developed an interest in interviewing artists and documenting creative scenes.

In Munich, he has conducted interviews with artists and creatives, including participant in exhibitions and creative events. One such project involved the Water Me exhibition at ZIRKA in Munich, where Calderón interviewed artists involved with the exhibition.
