Pt. 1

Muschis & Pimmel (Pussies and dicks) is a group exhibition at Studio D40 and was a fascinating blend of erotic imagery and creative works from Leyla Schiemenz, Leon Boden, Fabian Beger. The artists showcased their work from March 27 through March 29, 2025 at studio D40.

DJ and painter, Leyla Schiemenz, talks about her piece Die Frau beim Pissen (The woman pissing) which was inspired by Bernard Buffet’s 1947-work, Homme au cabinet (Man in the toilet). Leyla takes the idea and flips it on it’s head, reimagining it as a self-portrait. Schiemenz’s use of basic-colors in other works like, No Man’s Land, can be attributed to her having studied art and appreciating their modern and pop-arty nature. No Man’s Land is image that Schmienenz produced herself and mirrored to produce the desired effect.

Pt. 2

Fabian Beger and Leon Boden explained exactly what „noise“, a musical direction in which input mixers and Synthesizers create sound.

Beger and Boden have been experimenting with noise for about 3 years now.
